  • Notes:

Napoleon Premiere was first conceived by sculptor Antoine Louis Barye in 1862 for a proposed monument in Grenoble, France. The sculptor abandoned the project by 1866, and as a result, this sculpture was never edited for commercial production. Napoleon Premiere has been confused with other versions of the same subject, likely because this present model is so rare.

  • Condition: The bronze appears to be in very good condition.
